Dhurandhar Movie Plot
The story begins in 1999 after the hijacking of an Indian passenger plane. To save the hostages, the Indian government agrees to release terrorists and pay a ransom. Realizing the growing threat of terrorism, Intelligence Bureau officer Ajay Sanyal secretly launches Operation Dhurandhar, a mission to infiltrate terrorist networks inside Pakistan.
Sanyal sends undercover agent Hamza Ali Mazari into Karachi. Living under a false identity, Hamza gains the trust of local gangster Rehman Dakait after saving his younger son during a deadly gang attack. Rehman recruits Hamza into his gang, allowing him to move deeper into Pakistan's criminal underworld.
As Hamza rises through the gang, he uncovers links between gangsters, politicians, the Pakistani intelligence agency, and terrorist groups. He secretly passes valuable information to Indian intelligence, including details about fake Indian currency, illegal weapons, and planned terrorist attacks.
Hamza also falls in love with Yalina, the daughter of politician Jameel Jamali. At the same time, he carefully manipulates the rivalry between powerful gang leaders and politicians to strengthen his own position within Lyari.
Despite Hamza's efforts, the 2008 Mumbai terrorist attacks still take place, leaving him devastated. Determined to stop future attacks, he secretly joins hands with Jameel and police officer Chaudhary Aslam to remove Rehman from power.
Using a carefully planned trap, Hamza betrays Rehman during a weapons operation. After a violent fight and a road accident, Rehman is captured and later dies from his injuries. With Rehman gone, Hamza takes control of the Lyari gang.
In the final twist, Hamza is revealed to be Jaskirat Singh Rangi, an Indian prisoner who was recruited by Ajay Sanyal to work as an undercover intelligence agent. Having successfully infiltrated Pakistan's criminal network, he prepares for his next mission to hunt down the powerful mastermind behind several major terrorist attacks against India.
