Thamma Movie Plot
Alok Goyal is an unsuccessful journalist who dreams of becoming famous. To gain attention, he stages a fake ghost sighting in a graveyard, but the plan fails badly and he becomes an online joke. Wanting to prove he is brave, Alok goes on a camping trip with his friends. Ignoring safety warnings, he enters a forbidden part of the forest and is chased by a wild bear after his friends run away.
Just before the bear attacks him, a mysterious young woman named Tadaka saves his life. Alok wakes up inside an abandoned airplane hidden deep in the jungle, which serves as Tadaka's home. He quickly falls in love with her. Tadaka tells him to rest until he recovers and warns him never to enter the forest at night without her.
As the days pass, Alok notices that Tadaka behaves strangely. She has incredible physical strength, brings him entire raw animals whenever he is hungry, and rarely eats normal food herself. Although these things seem unusual, Alok ignores them because of his growing feelings for her.
One night, Tadaka secretly leaves the airplane. Curious, Alok follows her into the forest despite her warning. He finds her arguing with a group of strange people before they knock him unconscious. When he wakes up, he is inside a hidden village that is home to betaals, supernatural creatures living secretly among humans.
Tadaka begs the villagers to release Alok, insisting that he knows nothing about their existence or her real identity. They are almost convinced, but Alok, who is temporarily deaf from the blow to his head, misunderstands the situation and accidentally insults the betaals without realizing they are not human. As punishment, he is locked inside a cave with Yakshashan, a dangerous betaal prisoner. Yakshashan tries to trick Alok into getting close enough to be bitten, but Tadaka rescues him just in time. Angry that his plan failed, Yakshashan orders his followers to capture them, but the pair manage to escape.
Alok asks Tadaka to leave the forest and come with him to Delhi. She refuses at first, but Alok reminds her that she promised to take him home safely. Not wanting her to suffer punishment because of him, he convinces her to come.
In Delhi, Tadaka pretends to be a normal woman and changes her name to Tarika so Alok's parents will not suspect anything. However, adjusting to human life is difficult. She struggles with normal food because she prefers raw meat. Alok takes her to a restaurant where she can eat non-vegetarian dishes. After drinking too much alcohol, she dances with strangers. Later that night, a group of men follows them and tries to attack her. Alok attempts to calm the situation peacefully, but when that fails, Tadaka transforms into her terrifying betaal form and easily defeats the attackers. She spares their lives, but Yakshashan's followers later kill them.
Soon afterward, a senior police officer, who is secretly also a betaal, visits Alok's house. Believing Tadaka is responsible for the murders, he warns that she must leave for Alok's own safety.
As Tadaka leaves by bus, Alok desperately chases after her. Before they can reunite, he is involved in a deadly car accident. To save his life, Tadaka bites him, turning him into a betaal. The transformation breaks one of the betaals' most sacred rules, which forbids turning humans into their kind. Far away, Yakshashan senses that the rule has been broken and celebrates, knowing Tadaka will be punished and he may soon escape imprisonment.
With Tadaka's guidance, Alok learns to control his new supernatural abilities and adapt to life as a betaal. His father eventually notices his sharp vampire-like teeth. When Alok reveals the truth, his father refuses to believe him and takes him to an exorcist named Prabhakar. Prabhakar explains that the transformation cannot be reversed.
At the same time, Janardhan "Jana" arrives with his cousin Bhaskar, who has become a werewolf after previous supernatural events. Prabhakar reveals that Bhaskar can only be healed using the blood of a betaal. Bhaskar finds Alok and attacks him, becoming even stronger after tasting a single drop of Alok's blood. Tadaka rescues Alok before the fight turns deadly.
Seeking protection, Alok and Tadaka meet a betaal elder named Yadav, who takes them to a secret betaal gathering place. However, it is a trap. Alok is drugged, while Tadaka is arrested for breaking the sacred law by turning a human into a betaal. She willingly surrenders and is imprisoned.
Determined to save her, Alok enters the hidden land of the betaals and challenges Yakshashan. During the battle, Yakshashan overpowers him and appears to kill him. At that moment, the betaals' goddess performs a miracle and restores Alok to life. Blessed with the goddess's beating heart, Alok gains extraordinary new powers. He defeats Yakshashan, becomes the new leader of the betaal community, and imprisons Yakshashan once again.
The victory is short-lived. Sarkata, the powerful headless monster, appears and frees Yakshashan from captivity. Alok, Tadaka, and the leaders of the betaal sect prepare for another war. They learn that defeating Yakshashan will require even greater strength, which can only be gained through the blood of a werewolf. Meanwhile, Bhaskar, now fully transformed into his powerful werewolf form, heads toward the betaal temple, setting the stage for the next battle.
