Chand Mera Dil Movie Plot
Aarav Rawat joins an engineering college hoping for a new beginning and a normal college life. On his first day, he sees Chandni Prasad perform a beautiful fusion dance during the orientation programme. Her confidence and energy leave a lasting impression on him, and he slowly falls in love with her.
Aarav shows his feelings through small acts of kindness and always supports Chandni. As they spend more time together, their friendship grows into love, and they begin a happy relationship. Their lives change when Chandni discovers that she is pregnant. Aarav believes they are too young to become parents and suggests an abortion so they can focus on their studies and careers. Although Chandni agrees at first, she changes her mind at the hospital and decides to keep the baby. After struggling with fear, Aarav chooses to stand by her.
When they tell their families about the pregnancy and their decision to marry, both families reject them. With the help of their close friends, Aarav and Chandni get married and start a simple life together. Aarav works as a tutor while continuing his studies, and later Chandni gives birth to their daughter, Kavya.
As they adjust to parenthood, financial problems and daily responsibilities create stress in their marriage. Constant arguments damage their relationship, and during one fight, Aarav loses control and slaps Chandni. Hurt by his actions and unwilling to raise her daughter in a toxic environment, Chandni leaves him and later files for divorce.
Even after separating, Chandni still loves Aarav but cannot forget what happened. Aarav tries to earn back her trust and stays deeply involved in Kavya's life, meeting her every weekend. Over time, Chandni notices that Aarav has become more responsible and caring. However, she decides to move on and gets engaged to Kevin, while Aarav moves to Michigan to continue his education. Despite the distance, he remains a devoted father through regular video calls and visits.
Two years later, Aarav returns to Hyderabad for a college orientation programme. To his surprise, Chandni performs a dance similar to the one that first brought them together. The emotional moment reminds them of their journey and the love they still share. Aarav confesses that he still loves her and wants another chance. Chandni reveals that she ended her engagement to Kevin because she realised she could never stop loving Aarav.
In the end, Aarav and Chandni reunite as wiser and more mature people. Having learned from their mistakes, they choose to rebuild their family and move forward together with love, trust, and a stronger understanding of each other.
