Top Garba Artists in the USA (2026 Ranking)

The popularity of Garba events in the United States has grown significantly over the past decade, with thousands of attendees gathering every Navratri season to celebrate Gujarati culture. While every artist has a loyal fan base, crowd sizes generally depend on the performer's popularity, venue capacity, regional demand, and the style of Garba they present.

Broadly, US Garba events can be divided into two categories:

• Traditional Garba – Focused on authentic circular Garba with devotional and folk music.
• Commercial & Folk-Fusion Garba – High-energy performances that combine folk, modern rhythms, and concert-style entertainment.

Based on typical venue capacities and attendance trends across major Gujarati communities in cities such as Chicago, New Jersey, Houston, Dallas, Atlanta, and the San Francisco Bay Area, the following artists consistently attract some of the largest audiences.

1. Atul Purohit – Traditional Garba Legend

8,000–12,000+ attendees per event

Atul Purohit is widely recognized as one of the biggest names in traditional Garba. His performances emphasize authentic Vadodara-style Garba, attracting families and dedicated dancers who value the classic Navratri experience.

Large convention centers and indoor arenas hosting his performances often sell out well in advance, making his events among the most anticipated during the US Navratri season.

Falguni Pathak – The Dandiya Icon

6,000–10,000+ attendees per event

Known internationally as the "Dandiya Queen," Falguni Pathak continues to be one of the biggest crowd-pullers during Navratri. Her concerts blend nostalgic hits with energetic Dandiya music, appealing to audiences across multiple generations.

Her US tours regularly attract thousands of attendees in cities with large Gujarati populations, including Edison, Houston, and Santa Clara.

3. Kinjal Dave & Geeta Rabari – Folk Powerhouses

5,000–8,000+ attendees per event

Kinjal Dave and Geeta Rabari have become two of Gujarat's most popular contemporary folk artists. Their energetic performances and fast-paced Garba tracks resonate strongly with younger audiences while still preserving traditional folk elements.

Their appearances at large-scale Navratri festivals in Texas, Georgia, and other major Gujarati communities frequently draw impressive crowds.

4. Kirtidan Gadhvi & Parthiv Gohil – Cultural Favorites

4,000–7,000 attendees per event

Blending folk traditions, devotional music, and Dayro-style performances, Kirtidan Gadhvi and Parthiv Gohil remain highly respected names in Gujarati music.

Their performances are commonly featured at multi-day cultural festivals, temple celebrations, and community Navratri events throughout the United States.

5. Aishwarya Majmudar – A Favorite Among Young Audiences

3,000–5,000 attendees per event

Aishwarya Majmudar has established herself as one of the most popular younger Garba performers. Her concerts combine traditional Garba with modern musical arrangements, making them especially popular among college students and young professionals.

Her "Rangtaali" tours consistently attract enthusiastic audiences at sports complexes, university venues, and community event centers across major US cities.
