Rama Navami 2024

This year the festival of Rama Navami 2024 will fall on Wednesday, April 17, 2024.

The festival of Rama Navami is the celebration of the birthday of Lord Rama. Rama Navami is also the 9th day of Chaitra Navaratri. God Rama is the 7th avatar of Lord Vishnu. Lord Ram was born in Ayodhya as the son of King Dasharath and Queen Kaushalya. Rama Navami celebrations include decorating idols, fasting, visiting Lord Rama temple, and singing devotional songs. In Ayodhya, people celebrate Rama Navami by taking a dip in the river Sarayu and visiting the Rama temple.
